Vascular laser · per session

Redness associated with rosacea, broken capillaries around the nose and cheeks, and small facial veins, treated by targeting the vessels rather than the skin around them.

  • A vascular laser that targets vessels, planned per skin type with a test patch first.
  • Priced per session, $395, because the number of sessions depends on what we see; usually two to three.
  • Honest about what a laser can do for rosacea: the visible redness and vessels, not the condition itself.
  • Sun rules written down; redness treatments and beach weeks do not mix.

Why it works

A vascular laser is tuned to the colour of blood, so a flash heats the vessel and closes it while the surrounding skin takes little. Individual capillaries often go in one or two sessions; diffuse redness fades over a short series. The laser treats what is visible. It does not treat the cause of rosacea, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling.

Vessels come back with sun, heat and time, so the plan includes a maintenance forecast and the sun rules in writing.

  1. Step 01

    Read

Skin type, sun history and medications recorded by a nurse practitioner. One test patch fired.

  2. Step 02

    Plan

A written plan: device, settings range, sessions, interval, price and a maintenance forecast.

  3. Step 03

    Track

The same nurse every session, with photographs at sessions one, four and final.

Candour

For
  • Broken capillaries on the nose and cheeks, small facial veins, and the background redness that comes with rosacea.
  • People who have tried creams and want the visible vessels addressed.
  • Most skin types, with the test patch deciding the settings.
Not for, or not yet
  • Active rosacea flares or infected skin; we treat between flares.
  • Leg veins, which are a different device and often a different clinician.
  • Anyone with sun in the last two weeks.

Two sessions for the capillaries on my nose. Kenji said two or three and it was two.

They were clear that the laser treats the redness and not the rosacea. I had been sold the opposite before.

Questions

Questions people ask before they book

Still unsure? Call (619) 555-0147 and ask Mateo.

Will laser cure my rosacea?

No. It reduces the visible redness and vessels, often for a year or more. Rosacea itself is managed with your doctor; we will say that plainly at the Skin Read.

How many sessions?

Usually two to three, four to six weeks apart, judged at each visit. We price per session rather than selling a package you may not need.

Is there downtime?

Redness for a few hours and sometimes small bruise-like marks for a few days. Make-up the next day is fine.

Does it hurt?

A warm snap per pulse. Small areas take minutes.

Is it safe for darker skin?

With the right settings and a test patch, often yes. The Skin Read and the patch decide.
